AACE International provides its members with the resources they need to enhance their performance and ensure continued growth and success. AACEI serves cost managers and engineers, project managers, planners and schedulers, estimators and bidders, and value engineers.

Third Annual Bowling Fundraiser
News The third annual Bowling Fundraiser and bake sale will be held on June 6. Plan on coming out to have some fun bowling with your friends and peers and raise money for scholarships at the same time. RSVP by June 5 using the online registration form.

Joint meeting with PMI this month
Section Meeting The AACE-East TN Section will have the April Section Meeting on April 29 from 6:30-8:00. This is our annual joint meeting with the East Tennessee Chapter of PMI. Mike Pratt, Deputy Director of the Y-12 UPF Project, will speak on Project Cost Estimating as a virtualization of the future project. The meeting will be at Buddy's Banquet Hall on Kingston Pike in Knoxville (more).

We need a head count before the meeting, so please RSVP to Tim Earith, who can be reached at phone 574-9347 or by email. The cost will be $10. Please pay at the door.

Technical Seminar in Knoxville
Training The East Tennessee Section is having a technical seminar on Thursday, May 8. This will be followed by a golf event the following Friday. Section Meeting with Tour
Section Meeting The next AACE East Tennessee Section Meeting is set for Tuesday, September 24, 2013, from 6 to 8 PM. It will be start at the UT Gardens on Neyland Drive with a tour of UT's Living Light Solar House, followed by dinner at Calhoun's on the River. August Meeting
Section Meeting The August section meeting will be on Monday, August 26 at the Outback Restaurant on N. Peters Road in Knoxville. The guest speaker will be Jim Campbell, President of The East TN Economic Council. Mr. Campbell will speak on "Leveraging Oak Ridge Assets for Regional Growth". Come to hear an interesting topic and network with your friends and peers.
