Congratulations to our recently elected board members!
Returning to the board are Joy Grubb, Larry Sheron, Audrey Clark, Robyn Rose, and Bob McCoy. New to the board is David Benton. Remaining on the board are Melissa Buckner, Mark Plemmons, and Kathy Garza.
We appreciate these individuals being willing to lead the section. The East Tennessee section has a tradition of excellence, which we look forward to continuing.

Certification class has been cancelled
|
|
Only a couple of people signed up for the certification class this weekend, so the class has been cancelled. We'll probably offer the class again this Fall.

Primavera training available in the Knoxville area
|
|
David Rhodes of Enpro Consulting has provided us with a new schedule of Primavera classes to be held at Knoxville campus of Tusculum College. This is a nice opportunity for local training for those who need to upgrade their skills with P6.

CCC/CCE Certification Class in Oak Ridge
|
|
The AACE East Tennessee Section will be hosting a review course for the CCC/CCE certification exam. The review course is scheduled for three days and will be held on April 25th, May 30th and May 31st at the UT Outreach Center in Oak Ridge. The cost is $200 which includes two reference books: (1) CCC/CCE Certification Study Guide, 3rd Edition and (2) Skills & Knowledge of Cost Engineering, 5th Edition. The cost is $100 without the reference books.
