The annual joint meeting with the local chapter of PMI will be on Tuesday, April 22. It will be a luncheon from 11:30-1:00 at the Doubletree Hotel in Oak Ridge.
The Section will be subsidizing the cost of the luncheon to it's members, so the cost to attendees will only be $15. To attend the meeting, RSVP to Tammi Hodges by April 16. We have to guarantee the headcount to the hotel, so everyone RSVPing is expected to pay, even if they miss the meeting. Expect good food.
The guest speaker will be John Atwell (bio), Engineering Manager for the Watts Bar Unit 2 Construction Completion Project. Mr. Atwell will be speaking on Watts Bar Unit 2 and the future of the Nuclear Power Industry.

September section meeting
|
|
The next East Tennessee Section Meeting will be held on Monday, Sept. 24th at the Outback Steakhouse on North Peters Road, Knoxville.
Time: 5:45 - 7:45 PM
In an effort to add a little variety to our normal monthly meeting routine, we'll be doing something different this month. Rather than having a technical presentation, we will be playing
EVMS Jeopardy
This game utilizes a software package developed by Humphreys & Associates - a leader in EVMS and Scheduling. Our very own Larry Sheron will be filling in for Alex Trebek. Participants will be divided into two teams that will compete, have fun and maybe learn a thing or two!
This is one section meeting you won't want to miss!
